EICRs start from £250. Final pricing depends on the size and complexity of the installation, the number of circuits, access and whether previous paperwork or consumer unit details are available.
Do landlords legally need an EICR?
Yes — every privately rented property in England needs a satisfactory Electrical Installation Condition Report at least every 5 years, with copies to tenants and to the council on request. C1, C2 or FI observations must be dealt with within the required timescales. We can usually provide remedial quotations during the same visit.
How quickly can you get to me?
Urgent electrical faults are prioritised and the local patch is kept practical so we can respond promptly. Appointment times depend on the diary, job type and safety risk, so we give the earliest available slot rather than over-promising attendance times.
Are you qualified and insured?
Yes — NAPIT registered, City & Guilds 2391 qualified in inspection and testing, and covered by £2m public liability insurance. All notifiable work is certified and registered.
